The goal of this training, led by Rev. Robin Zucker, is to help new and current Pastoral Care Associates (and others who are interested) own their passion and commitment to helping others and actualizing this energy into an effective Pastoral Care ministry. We will explore listening and communication skills, visiting and companioning, issues related to loss and bereavement, the religious component of UU Pastoral Care, responding to common life events, how to refer individuals to professionals, and the importance of confidentiality and boundaries.  Morning refreshments provided. Please RSVP by emailing Rev.
