The Das/Potter Jazz Duo takes the stage at 7 p.m., with Subda Das on percussion and Chris Potter on piano.

Subha Das is a professional percussionist/music educator in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has studied orchestral percussion with Gerry Unger and Stanley Leonard (former musicians with the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra) and jazz with the legendary Dr. John Wilson, Mike Tomaro, Lenny Rodgers, and Jay Ashby. In 1998, he joined the staff of the award-winning Mount Lebanon High School Percussion program, where he holds the title of Principal Assistant Director. In 2012, he was named an educational artist for Meinl Percussion. Subha is one of the most in-demand percussionists and private instructors in the Pittsburgh area.

Jazz pianist Chris Potter is involved with multiple musical projects in Pittsburgh and has studied with Eric Doney and Jesse Green and attended master classes led by Dave Liebman and Phil Woods. At the Mary Pappert school of Music at Duquesne University, Chris studied jazz with Ron Bickel and Mike Tomaro and composition with Joe Sheehan. Chris is rapidly becoming a go-to pianist for many musical genres in the Pittsburgh area as a gigging and studio musician.
