St. David’s Episcopal Church at 905 E. McMurray Road in Venetia is hosting a community-wide Flea Market on Sat., Oct. 15 from 8-2 p.m. to benefit Pauline Juliet, Inc. Parking spaces must be reserved in advance, and the event will be held rain or shine. Come sell your goods, or call for a pick up and St. David’s volunteers will sell them for you! 100% of the proceeds from sales will go to chairty. Call Susan at (412) 854-1338 or Lauren at (412) 726-8985 to reserve your spot, arrange for a pick-up, or with questions.

On two occasions we have been pleased to have the founder of Pauline Juliet, Ms. Lauren O’Brien, speak to the congregation about the work of this important non-profit. Pauline Juliet exists to supply the girls of Uganda, and the world, the education and empowerment necessary to effect change within themselves and within their communities. The majority of projects are in Kiboga, Uganda (East Africa) where we work with many girls and families in the community.

Lauren O’Brien is a 22-year old Pitt senior and Bethel Park resident who is the President and Co-Founder of Pauline Juliet, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non profit organized in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

What could be more convenient than having someone pick up items you no longer need and offering them for sale to benefit the imprtant work of Pauline Juliet?
