In August 2017, Sunnyhill completed construction of a large addition to its historical facility located at 1420 Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The design of the new space was influenced by our goal to become a welcoming center for personal, artistic, educational, and community gatherings and events. To support our goal, we welcome those who share our values of love, justice, inclusion, and peace into our home.

Unless otherwise noted, our building is fully ADA compliant. The building is accessible from the outside via a wheelchair ramp or two steps with handrails. Bathrooms (men, women, gender neutral) and water fountains are located on the ground floor. An integrated space for hanging coats is located in the main hall.

  • Fully equipped commercial kitchen with commercial gas range and convection oven, commercial refrigerator, and small freezer.
    • Freezer space is very limited. Can accomodate containers of ice cream and a few bags of ice, for example.
    • Refrigerator space will be made available and clearly marked for a renter’s use.
  • Renters may bring their own dishes and cookware. Renters may use available dishes and cookware for an additional fee.
  • Renters may bring their own table linens. Renters who use available table linens will be charged a laundry fee.


  • 558 sf (20’3” X 27’-6”)
    • Currently, this space is set up for religious education classes with youth-sized tables and chairs. Can be re-configured as needed.
  • Not air conditioned.


  • There is parking for 44 vehicles with two spaces designated for persons with disabilities: one is van accessible. Parking is also available on adjacent and nearby side streets.


  • A limited supply of 5’, 6’, and 8’ rectangular folding tables is available.
  • A list of approved caterers is available on request.
