Designated Offering
One Sunday per month, ususally the 3rd Sunday, all cash and checks put into the offering basket during the services go to an organization which our members choose to support financially.
We view this as one aspect of Social Action work.
The list of organizations we have helped in this way is quite impressive, as is the amount of money donated, as you can see by the chart below for 2010. The next designated offering will be published in advance on the Sundays at Sunnyhill home page.
Members: if you know of an organization you would like to support in this way, download and print the Request for Designated Offering Form (PDF), fill it out and bring it to church with you. The instructions on the form tell you where to drop it off. Thank you!
