Youth Group
The Youth Group will be starting its year on September 17th and meeting Sundays from 10:30am-12:00pm with a focus on Climate and Environmental Justice.
During this church year, the high school-aged members of the Youth Group and adult facilitators will be working together to understand climate and environmental issues and challenges more deeply; develop ideas about how we can make positive changes, both personally and in our communities; and translate those ideas into action.
We anticipate inviting guest speakers to talk with the Youth Group; participating in service projects; and discussing and reading about ways that we can be proactively engaged in our communities and in our democracy.
